Construction of a centre specialising in the treatment of serious burns. The initial evaluation of the lesions is essential because it allows the patient to be directed to this adapted structure and to define the therapeutic strategy that needs to be urgently implemented. Severe burns represent a medical and surgical emergency in the first instance, but in the longer term require revalidation, sometimes motor, psychological and surgical.

- The emergency department and the intensive care unit such as the operating theatres and the radiology department are in constant communication and their size must be adapted to the equipment (its size and weight) used.

Location
Having a centre of expertise in the management of this pathology is a major national asset but also for the region and sub-region. Nowadays, no one is safe from a domestic accident, from the release of smoke from multiple causes but also from armed conflicts or terrorist acts. The physical and psychological injuries are deep and serious. In this structure, the size of the rooms is increased as well as the size of the corridors in order to respect the dynamic flow of patients, nursing staff and often more bulky equipment. The revalidation, the complicated care that these injuries generate as well as the psychological support deserve spaces adapted to the height of the suffering encountered by the victims.
